The Ligurian pesto produced by the La Baita & Galleano farm is one of the traditional preparations of Ligurian cuisine .
This cold sauce is mainly made with basil , which is mixed with Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, Vessalico garlic , extra virgin olive oil and salt to obtain a condiment with a unique flavour.
The use of Vessalico garlic makes the Ligurian pesto of the La Baita & Galleano company exclusive and refined.
Vassalico garlic is grown exclusively in the municipalities belonging to the Union of Municipalities of the Upper Arroscia Valley.
