We are obviously not talking about your guests, but about the ingredients you will use to cook. For an autumn aperitif, say goodbye to tomatoes and melons to make way for mushrooms, squash and walnuts.
These fall fruits and vegetables have many benefits to make you forget about summer recipes. First of all they are in season, an essential criterion in the kitchen; secondly, they allow you to create delicious recipes such as soups, autumn cakes, creamy sauces, etc. Finally, after the many tomato mozzarellas that have delighted us this summer, we are delighted to be able to vary the menus with sweet and comforting flavours.
Gourmet recipes
Now that you know which products to choose, it's time to select your recipes. For a festive aperitif, we can offer a selection of appetizers and verrines. Autumn pizzas, pumpkin pie or even root vegetable tart… Dishes that have the advantage of being able to be prepared in advance, in large formats. All you have to do is cut them into individual portions and reheat them, if necessary, when it comes to serving. A time saver that avoids last minute stress.
We can also offer an autumn aperitif platter mixing cold cuts, cheeses, seasonal fruit and vegetables. Slices of apples, a bunch of grapes and a handful of walnuts can thus accompany Parmesan, raw ham or gorgonzola. The only rule in this matter is to please yourself.
To top it all off, we plan on making some homemade potato chips and crackers, made from parsnips or sweet potatoes, to go with the dips. Spreads that can be easily revisited with seasonal products, for example by incorporating pumpkin or chestnut puree into hummus.
To make your aperitif sparkling, we recommend combining the 30% brut sparkling wine from the Cà Biasi Agricultural Company
Easy and delicious, the autumn aperitif really has it all.
